Cervino GTX Mid
The Cervino is the latest model from LOWA, designed to push the envelope of fit, comfort and performance in a technical mountaineering boot. The Cervino uses a unique Vibram sole, constructed using Spring Lug Technology, reducing the weight of the sole, increasing cushioning while still offering excellent grip. A TPU heel clip offers a dependable attachment point for semi-automatic crampons, making the Cervino B2 rated. The lightweight upper uses a traditional rugged leather construction with Gore-Tex for weather protection, but with a hybrid blend of TPU and rubber rand to protect from rock. The tongue and lacing system employ clever low friction roller-eyelets which are free floating, allowing the boot to comfortably cradle the foot and offer a snug fit from new. LOWA’s carbon midsole offers lateral stiffness for edging performance but just enough flex to make long approaches comfortable.
