The women’s Cervino is the latest model from LOWA, designed to push the envelope of fit, comfort and performance in a technical mountaineering boot, but built for women’s feet. The Cervino uses a clever Vibram sole, constructed using Spring Lug Technology, which reduces the weight of the sole, increases cushioning all while still offering excellent grip. A TPU heel clip offers a dependable attachment point for semi-automatic crampons, making the Cervino B2 rated. The lightweight upper is a mix of rugged leather construction with Gore-Tex for weather protection, but with a hybrid blend of TPU and rubber rand to protect from rock. The tongue and lacing system employ clever low friction roller-eyelets which are free floating, allowing each lace to be tweaked individually for a perfect foot hold. LOWA’s carbon midsole offers lateral stiffness for edging performance but with enough flex to make long approaches comfortable.
